This initiative aimed to create opportunities for children to experience a sense of achievement through new forms of learning and physical activity utilizing ICT.

By combining digital technology with sports, the program provided an environment where each child could enjoy moving their body while gaining confidence through a successful “I did it!” experience.

HADO is designed to be intuitive and visually engaging, allowing participants to play regardless of their individual physical abilities.

During the event, many children tried AR sports for the first time and showed great enthusiasm as they learned how to control virtual energy balls and cooperate with their teammates.

Comment from the Organizer

“During this initiative, it was impressive to see children challenge themselves with a ‘new kind of sport’ that they rarely experience in their everyday school life.
In particular, witnessing how their curiosity and motivation were naturally stimulated by their first encounter with new technology reminded us of the power of technology to expand the scope of learning and activities.”

Many participants shared positive feedback such as “It was fun” and “I want to try it again,” indicating that the experience helped foster self-confidence and motivation.

Through this initiative, HADO demonstrated its potential as an inclusive sports activity that supports diverse learning styles and physical abilities. Moving forward, HADO will continue to contribute to the creation of inclusive and innovative learning and sports environments by integrating technology with physical activity.
