The International HADO Federation (IHF) has been established as the international governing body for HADO, the augmented reality sport.

International HADO Federation Ltd. was incorporated in Singapore as an international sports organization operated on a not-for-profit basis.

Since its creation, HADO has expanded to more than 40 countries and regions, with over 10 million cumulative players worldwide.

As HADO continues to grow internationally, the need for a common global framework has become increasingly important — including standardized competition rules, fair and consistent tournament operations, officiating and certification systems, and a clear competitive pathway that enables athletes to progress from local competitions to the highest level of international competition.

The IHF was established to govern HADO as an international sport and to work together with HADO organizations, athletes, and stakeholders around the world to shape the future of the sport.

The International HADO Federation envisions a future where everyone, regardless of nationality, age, or physical ability, can take center stage in sport.

Through HADO, the IHF aims to inspire people to move both their bodies and minds, improve their well-being, and pursue their dreams with hope and courage.

Building a Global Sporting Framework for HADO

HADO competitions, leagues, and athlete development programs have continued to expand around the world, with athletes representing countries and regions competing on the international stage.

To support the next phase of HADO’s global development, the IHF will work with governing organizations in countries and regions around the world to establish a consistent international sporting framework.

The IHF’s primary responsibilities include:

• Establishing and maintaining official HADO competition rules and technical standards
• Organizing and sanctioning international competitions, including the HADO WORLD CUP
• Sanctioning competitions held at national and regional levels and developing the global competition structure
• Establishing certification and development systems for referees and technical officials
• Approving host cities and venues for international competitions
• Developing governance frameworks to protect fairness, safety, and sporting integrity
• Supporting the global development of HADO and the development of future generations of athletes

Creating a Pathway from Local Competition to the HADO WORLD CUP

The IHF is developing a global competition structure that connects tournaments around the world and provides athletes with a clear pathway toward the highest level of HADO competition.

Through this structure, local competitive environments and athlete development programs will be connected to regional and international competition.

The IHF will also support additional competition formats, including GLOBAL OPEN events that are not limited to national or regional representatives, as well as categories designed to provide competitive opportunities for the next generation of athletes.

The goal is to create a sporting ecosystem in which athletes can begin playing HADO in their own communities, continue developing through competition, and ultimately pursue the opportunity to compete on the world stage.

Establishing Fair, Safe, and Consistent Standards Worldwide

The sustainable growth of an international sport requires more than competitive excellence. It also requires fairness, safety, transparency, and strong governance.

The IHF has established a Code of Ethics covering areas including fair play, non-discrimination, prevention of harassment and abuse, safeguarding of minors and vulnerable persons, conflicts of interest, corruption, bribery, and the prevention of match manipulation and other forms of misconduct.

The Federation is also establishing a governance framework through which recognized HADO governing organizations from countries and regions can participate in discussions concerning the future development of competition systems and technical rules.

Through these initiatives, the IHF aims to create an environment in which everyone involved in HADO can participate safely and compete under fair and consistent standards, regardless of where they are in the world.
