AR Sport “HADO” Developed by meleap Inc. Featured in International Exchange Program “OLYMPIC Trials 2025”
The AR sport HADO, developed by meleap Inc., was featured in the international exchange program “OLYMPIC Trials 2025” held in August 2025 in Uda City, Nara Prefecture and Nachikatsuura Town, Wakayama Prefecture.
This program was organized to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Uda City and the 70th anniversary of Nachikatsuura Town, and welcomed 10 children from the CIESF Leaders Academy—an educational institution operated by the Cambodian education support organization CIESF. The children participated alongside local elementary school students in Japan.
About the Program
This initiative was organized to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Uda City and the 70th anniversary of Nachikatsuura Town, inviting 10 children from Cambodia’s leading educational institution, the CIESF Leaders Academy, to Japan. Together with local elementary school students, they participated in a variety of programs, including swimming and beach sports lessons by Olympic medalists and seaside safety education, fostering deeper international exchange.
In addition to these activities, the program also featured HADO, the next-generation AR sport attracting global attention, providing children with opportunities to build friendship and teamwork across borders.
New Learning and Friendship Through HADO
Within the program, the HADO experience was positioned as “a new sport where children from different backgrounds can collaborate, communicate, and take on challenges together.”
HADO requires not only physical activity but also strategy and teamwork, encouraging children who had just met to naturally communicate, cooperate, and build bonds of friendship and solidarity.
During the matches, participants were often seen cheering for each other beyond the outcome of the games. Many expressed feelings such as “I want to challenge myself more” and “I discovered the joy of working together with friends.”
This proved that HADO served not only as an enjoyable activity, but also as a platform for intercultural understanding and collaborative learning.

Looking Ahead
meleap Inc. will continue to promote the use of HADO in educational institutions and international exchange programs, creating opportunities for children to learn, cooperate, and cultivate the skills to shape their own futures—while having fun.
