Why HADO is a “Team Game”

The passion and youthful spirit that comes from being a team
HADO’s official rules allow for a maximum of “3 vs 3” players.
There’s actually a clear reason for this number setting.
HADO is not just a competitive game; it’s designed as a “competition that connects people.”

Why HADO Chose to Be a “Team Sport”

One of the first themes we considered during the development of HADO was:
“Should it be an individual sport or a team sport?”
Ultimately, HADO chose to be a “team sport.”
There are three main reasons for this.

1. We wanted to create moments of explosive emotion

High-fiving teammates at the moment of victory.
Hugging each other in celebration.
These moments of overwhelming emotion are unique to team sports.
In HADO, teamwork and coordination are required repeatedly during a match.
That’s why the joy of victory is multiplied many times over.

2. We wanted to create a sport that allows adults to experience “youth” even as they grow up

For many people, the experience of being passionate about club activities during their school days is a special memory.

Aiming for the same goal with teammates,
practicing together,
sharing frustrations,
and celebrating victories together.

With HADO, you can experience that feeling of “youth” even as an adult.
In fact, HADO has many adult players as well as students.

The fact that everyone, regardless of age or experience, can challenge themselves from the same starting line is one of HADO’s unique charms.

3. We wanted to create a sport that spreads through the power of community

HADO is a sport that spreads from person to person.

“We’re one person short, want to join us?”

Such a simple phrase can be the catalyst for the birth of a new team and the formation of a new community.

Through the sport, people make new friends, find their place in the world, and the passion spreads.
HADO continues to grow as such a community sport.

Why “3”?

So why is HADO a “3v3” game?

The reason is simple.
It’s easy to gather, and everyone can be the star.

Too many people make it difficult to form a team.
On the other hand, too few people diminishes strategy and teamwork.

Three is the number that achieves a perfect balance:

  • Easy to gather teammates
  • Clear division of roles
  • Everyone can participate in the game
  • Each individual’s strengths can be utilized

In HADO, each player has a different fighting style.

Players who attack on the front lines.
Players who support their teammates.
Players who support defense and strategy.

The team’s strength comes from each player’s role working together.

The Future HADO Aims For

HADO aims for more than just an AR experience.
It envisions a future where technology sparks passion, connection, and the creation of new cultures.

Is it a game or a sport?
Is it real or digital?

Transcending these boundaries, HADO will continue to deliver new competitive experiences to the world.
